Therapeutic Uses

EPIDUO Gel is indicated for the topical treatment of:

• Acne vulgaris
• Comedonal acne (blackheads and whiteheads)
• Inflammatory acne lesions (papules and pustules)
• Mild to moderate acne affecting the face, chest, or back

Mechanism of Action

The combination provides complementary anti-acne effects:

Adapalene

• Normalizes skin cell turnover
• Helps prevent blocked pores
• Reduces formation of comedones

Benzoyl Peroxide

• Reduces acne-causing bacteria
• Helps decrease inflammation
• Promotes exfoliation of the skin

Presentation

• White to slightly yellow gel
• Tube containing 30 grams
• Contains 0.1% adapalene and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide

Directions for Use

• Apply a thin layer once daily, usually in the evening, to affected areas.
• Apply only to clean, dry skin.
• Avoid contact with eyes, lips, nostrils, and mucous membranes.

Important Information

• Skin dryness, redness, peeling, and mild irritation may occur during the first weeks of treatment.
