DUODART® is a combination medication containing dutasteride 0.5 mg and tamsulosin hydrochloride 0.4 mg in a single capsule. It is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), commonly known as an enlarged prostate. Dutasteride helps reduce prostate size by lowering dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels, while tamsulosin relaxes the muscles of the prostate and bladder neck to improve urine flow and relieve urinary symptoms.
