DERMOVATE® Cream (Clobetasol Propionate) – 25 g Tube

DERMOVATE® Cream contains clobetasol propionate, a very potent topical corticosteroid used for the short-term treatment of severe inflammatory skin disorders that have not responded adequately to less potent corticosteroids. It helps reduce redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort associated with various dermatological conditions.

Indications

DERMOVATE® Cream is indicated for the treatment of:

• Severe eczema
• Resistant dermatitis
• Psoriasis (excluding widespread plaque psoriasis)
• Lichen planus
• Discoid lupus erythematosus
• Other corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses

Mechanism of Action

Clobetasol propionate is a highly potent corticosteroid that:

• Suppresses inflammatory reactions in the skin
• Reduces redness and swelling
• Relieves itching and irritation
• Helps control immune-mediated skin responses

Directions for Use

• Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily as directed by a healthcare professional.
• Use the minimum amount necessary to control symptoms.
• Wash hands after application unless treating the hands.
• Treatment should generally be limited to short periods.
