DUAC® Gel is a topical anti-acne medication that combines benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin to help treat mild to moderate acne vulgaris. This dual-action formula works by reducing acne-causing bacteria, decreasing inflammation, and helping to clear blocked pores.

Indications

Mechanism of Action

• Clindamycin is an antibiotic that inhibits the growth of Cutibacterium acnes (formerly Propionibacterium acnes).
• Benzoyl Peroxide has antibacterial and keratolytic properties, helping to remove excess oil and dead skin cells while reducing bacterial resistance to antibiotics.

Directions for Use

• Apply a thin layer once daily, usually in the evening, to clean and dry affected skin.
• Avoid contact with eyes, lips, nostrils, and broken skin.
• Wash hands thoroughly after application.
