ZOVIRAX is an antiviral medication containing acyclovir, used for the treatment and suppression of infections caused by herpes viruses. It helps control viral replication, reducing the severity and duration of symptoms associated with herpes simplex and other susceptible viral infections.

Indications:

• Genital herpes (initial and recurrent episodes)
• Herpes simplex infections of the skin and mucous membranes
• Suppressive therapy for recurrent herpes infections
• Herpes zoster (shingles), when prescribed by a healthcare professional
• Varicella (chickenpox)

Dosage Form:

• Oral tablets
