Indications

NIZORAL® Cream is indicated for the treatment of:

• Athlete’s foot (Tinea pedis)
• Ringworm (Tinea corporis)
• Jock itch (Tinea cruris)
• Cutaneous candidiasis
• Seborrheic dermatitis
• Pityriasis versicolor (Tinea versicolor)
• Other superficial fungal skin infections caused by susceptible organisms

Mechanism of Action

Ketoconazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent that:

• Inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes
• Disrupts fungal cell membrane integrity
• Stops fungal growth and promotes eradication of infection
• Helps relieve associated itching and inflammation

Directions for Use

• Clean and dry the affected area before application.
• Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected skin and surrounding area once or twice daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
• Continue treatment for the full prescribed duration even if symptoms improve earlier.
• Wash hands after application.
